For the 2022 Luminato Art Festival, Oluseye created a glorious sculptural exhibit, entitled the Black Ark.

The installation’s poetic shape was beautifully simple, and logistically very complicated to produce. I was brought in to help the scene shop translate the design into files for the CNC machine, and construction drawings for the builders to work off of.
It was a complex and brilliant trial of 3d modelling, and I learned a lot of new tools that have allowed me to design more complex shapes.
And it was an honour to get to work on a project with so much purpose.
